Woman Arrested By HWP For Outstanding Warrants After Benton County Car Crash

A one-car accident on northbound Highway-65 near Route-BB in Pettis County sends a Warsaw woman to the emergency room with serious injuries and results in her being arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The highway patrol says it happened shortly after 10:00 Thursday night when 44-year-old Darrin Stokes, of Marshall, missed a curve, ran off the road, struck an embankment the vehicle landing on its side. Stokes was wearing a seat belt and escaped without injury.

His passenger, 32-year-old Samantha Dobnikar was not wearing a seat belt and suffered serious injuries.

She was taken to Bothwell Health Center, and later arrested on a Benton County no-bond warrant for failing to abide with a judge’s order.
