Wavier Now In Effect For Overweight Trucks Due To Necessary Storm Repairs

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced an allowance for heavier-than-normal truckloads of rock, sand and gravel to be taken to areas for flood relief, levees and other public infrastructure repair.

The waiver will allow private and for-hire carriers to haul up to 10% more than their licensed weight on Missouri non-interstate highways.

The waiver will remain in effect through May 5^th.
