It’s all about safety this weekend as the Lake of the Ozarks Water Safety Council is hosting its Annual Boating and Water Safety Seminar.
Captains Bob May and Doug Beck recently spoke on KRMS Radio about the event…May says it’s a day of information being presented in a family-friendly atmosphere.
“After the keynote speakers are finished, we’ll go into what we call breakout sessions so that people can get some more detailed information about a variety of boating and water safety topics. And then we finish up, there’s a vendor area in the commons there at the school, and there’ll be booths set up. There’s going to be a kids area as well, which our Boy Scout troop is going to take care of….so we want the families to come.”
There will also be food trucks on site with different offerings during the water safety seminar.
The seminar is being held from 8:00-1:00 Saturday at Camdenton High School.
