Two Injured In Accident On Highway 5 In Morgan County

Two people are injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway-5 at Route-TT in Morgan County.

The highway patrol says it happened shortly before 10:00 Tuesday morning.

The vehicle driven by 35-year-old Timothy Potts, of Versailles, crossed over the center striking the vehicle driven by 78-year-old James Newkirk, of Gravois Mills. Potts’ vehicle then traveled off the road and overturned.

Both drivers suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
