Two Injured In Accident Off Hammond Road

Two people are injured, including a Barnett woman, in a two-vehicle accident around 4:30 Monday afternoon on westbound-54 at Hammond Road in Cole county.

The highway patrol says it happened65-year-old Johnnie Bell, of Dixon, pulled into the path of 61-year-old Patricia Sharp, of Barnett.

Both drivers suffered moderate injuries and were taken to St. Mary’s.
