Two Fatal Accidents Occur Over The Weekend In The Lake Region

One person is dead after a head-on collision along Highway-7 near Bollinger Creek Road in Camden County.

The highway patrol says it happened Sunday morning when 19-year-old Shaylin Torimino, of Climax Springs, crossed over the center striking 32-year-old Matthew Hallquist, of Camdenton.

Hallquist was pronounced dead at the scene while Torimino escaped with moderate injuries and was treated at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Both of the drivers had been wearing seat belts at the time.

In a separate incident….

A St. Louis man is dead following a crash just outside of Richland over the weekend.

The Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Timothy Nolan of High Ridge was traveling north on Riddle Road near Buckhorn, when his Polaris Ranger traveled off the right side of the road and stuck a tree.

Timothy was taken to General Leonard Wood Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

His passenger, 44-year-old Carrie Nolan was seriously injured and taken to Phelps Hospital in Rolla.

A previous release indicated there was no insurance however after a discussion with family, insurance was proven to be existing. This was one of many accidents that occurred due to ice in the same area.
