With epoxy work coming to an end on the eastbound Grand Glaize Bridge, don’t look now but, westbound motorists will soon get to experience the delays caused by that work.
MoDOT Central District Area Engineer Danny Roeger says the biggest complaint so far has been why the work has to be done during the daytime hours.
“That epoxy, obviously, is applied with squeegees and brooms. Actually. It it comes out quite viscous, very liquid. It has to have that that perfect, you know, environment….those elements outside to assist with the cure time.”
The work is expected to shift over onto the westbound bridge on Monday.
