Three Texas Men Remain Behind Bars In Camden County Awaiting Court Date In ATM Theft Case

Three suspects who are believed to had been planning a theft from another ATM in the lake area will stay in the Camden County Jail for at least another day.

21-year-old Andre Spiller of Pasadena, Texas…22-year-old Jermarcus Berry of Manvel, Texas…and 24-year-old Devon Collins of Houston, Texas…have been held since being arrested following a traffic stop earlier this month in the area of state roads F and N, and Highway-5.

During the stop, heavy duty tow chains with hooks, gloves and pry bars were discovered in the vehicle with all three of the men subsequently charged with conspiracy to commit a felony, attempting to steal $25,000 or more from a teller machine and possession of burglary tools.

Bond hearings for all three being held without bond were set for Tuesday, but the courthouse was closed due to the winter storm.

The bond hearings are expected to now be held on the next available day when the courthouse is re-opened.
