Thousands Of KN-95 Masks Are Recalled After Failing Standards

Local News Wednesday, April 15th, 2020

Nearly 50-thousand KN-95 masks for first responders across Missouri are being recalled.

According to Missouri Department of Public safety Director Sandy Karsten, notices to law enforcement and firefighters announcing the recall covering the masks were sent out on April 2nd and April 8th  because they did not meet standards.

Karsten has also directed first responders with masks from those two dates to take them out of circulation and not use them.

SEMA will then collect any of the unused masks.
