Sunrise Beach Awarded $19K Grant For Radios & Communications

The Sunrise Beach Police Department will soon get some much-needed upgrades to communications.

Chief Scott Craig says the department has just been informed of being on the receiving end of a grant for more than $19,500.

The grant, according to the chief, will be used to purchase new computers and some portable Motorola radios.
