Students Across Lake Area Getting “Hands On” Teaching For Agriculture

Some students in the lake area are getting a hands-on approach in learning how our lives are intertwined with agriculture.

Students in the Climax Springs and Macks Creek school districts’ FFA programs and from the Lake Career and Technical Center FFA are among those participating in the Agriculture Education on the Move program…a ten-week program during which they learn about several topics.

Those topics, among others, include: crops, livestock, soil and water conservation, nutrition and careers in agriculture.

The Ag Moves initiative is STEM-focused aligning with state learning objectives.
