Stover Man Seriously Hurt in MO-52 Accident in Morgan County

A 69-year-old from Stover is seriously hurt in a one-vehicle accident early Tuesday afternoon on Missouri-52 one-half mile east of Calico Road in Morgan County.

The highway patrol says a S-U-V driven by Danny Cook traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole.

That caused early morning power outages for several in the area.

It’s unknown if Cook was wearing a seat belt at the time.

He suffered serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital in Columbia.
