Stover Man Killed In Accident On Ivy Bend Road In Morgan County

A Stover man is dead following a one-vehicle accident late Wednesday night in Morgan County.

The highway patrol confirms that 79-year-old Michael Kern was driving along Ivy Bend Road when he crossed over the center before overcorrecting which sent the vehicle overturning off the roadway and striking a tree.

Kern was not wearing a seat belt at the time.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
