The future of agricultural and transportation education at State Fair Community College is given a financial boost by the State Fair Speedway.
Larry McCowan from the speedway recently presented State Fair and the State Fair Foundation with a check for $1,000 to go toward the future 60,000-square-foot $20-million Center for Advanced Agriculture and Transportation Technology.
The center is expected to be the cornerstone of State Fair’s efforts to enhance hands-on-training and expand career opportunities in agriculture.
The donation from the speedway was recently presented as part of State Fair’s “Driving Growth, Harvesting Tomorrow” capital campaign.
