Slight Reduction Expected For Ameren Customers This February

Ameren Missouri customers will see a slight reduction of a monthly charge on their bills come February 1st.

Ameren says the charge reflects the cost it incurs to provide customers with energy efficiency programs through the Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act.

On Friday The approved Ameren’s request to adjust the charge.

For average residential customers using 1,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month, the charge will drop from about $3.76 to $3.67 a month.
