Rocky Mount Woman Faces DWI Charges Following Weekend Crash

A 28-year-old woman from Rocky Mount faces pending charges after an alleged hit-and-run traffic accident late Saturday night.

While details of the accident were not released, the highway patrol says Cherie Johnson is also accused of DWI, failing to drive on the right side of the road and driving without insurance.

Johnson was taken to the Miller County Jail and put on a 12-hour hold.
