UPDATED (3:30 P.M.):
That one-vehicle accident that tied up traffic around 8:15 Wednesday morning on westbound-54 near Craig Field Drive in Linn Creek sends a 25-year-old Camdenton woman to the emergency room.
The highway patrol says the Jeep driven by Ariel Meranda ran off the road and struck a guardrail before overturning back onto the roadway. Meranda was wearing a seat belt and escaped with minor injuries.
She was treated at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
ORIGINAL STORY: (9:05 A.M.) Westbound traffic on Route-54 is slow-going at this time while crews work a reported one-vehicle accident in Linn Creek. The accident, described as an overturned vehicle, happened in the area of the post office and the turnoff to head into the business district. There is no injury information available at this time.
