Ice had to be chipped away and it was cold with about 30-degree water but that didn’t stop more than 250 people from doing the plunge at PB-2 in Osage Beach over the weekend to benefit Special Olympics Missouri.
A report on KRCG says Special Olympics counted 231 polar plungers, 18 super plungers, 11 pee-wee plungers and 75 others doing the strut for the event which raised a little over $240,000 for the cause.
