Parents Accused Of Taking Their Daughter From A Foster Home Are Arrested In Laclede County

Two Rockwall, Texas, residents accused of taking their infant daughter from a foster home after losing their parental rights and fleeing into Missouri have been taken into custody by the highway patrol in Laclede County.

The Texas Department of Public Safety issued an Amber Alert shortly after 8:30 Monday morning after having had “developed a high level of confidence” that 26-year-old Dakota Brady and 22-year-old Margaret Van Aken had taken the child.

The infant was found safe and unharmed while Brady and Van Aken were arrested and are facing pending charges of being fugitives from out of state. Both were put on 24-hour holds.
