Paraglider Escapes Death After Crashing Into Power Lines In Morgan County

A paraglider is lucky to escape serious injury, much less death, after crashing into some power lines Sunday evening in Morgan County.

The highway patrol says it happened near Fortuna and that the unidentified pilot suffered only minor injuries and being ejected from the craft.

An inspector from the FAA was expected to be on the scene Monday to investigate the incident.
