The Overland Park Boat Show this past weekend continues to draw positive reviews from those who took the two-and-a-half hour trip each way to check out the latest or, perhaps, open up their wallets for a new boat.
One of those attending the event from the lake area was Lake West Chamber Director Mike Koenigsman…“Talked to a lot of the boat dealers and all the other dealers and vendors and businesses that work around the lake to help keep our lake clean and exciting. They were all very excited about how well the boat show was attended and how much business they were doing. So that’s a good, positive sign for us here at the lake.”
Koenigsman says a record attendance of more than 8,000 at the show is a good sign of things to come this spring and summer.
Other than attending the boat show, Koenigsman also says the chamber and the west side remain busy preparing for several activities such as networking socials, more boat shows to attend and a big month of March which is expected to include St. Pat’s activities and, of course, the Lake West Business Expo.
