Over 280 Officers Added To National Law Enforcement Memorial During Police Week

Hundreds of law enforcement officers are forever remembered during National Police Week.

On the National Mall in Washington, DC…..A candlelight vigil for fallen officers has been held and the names of 282 who died in-the-line-of-duty are now engraved on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas telling those in attendance…“To a law enforcement officer, there is no such thing as a routine, risk free, dispatch.”

Secretary Mayorkas says the agents and officers represent the very best of America.
