Osage Beach Projecting Summer Success With Ballparks National Partnership

While the jury of public opinion is still out on a new partnership between the City of Osage Beach and Ballparks National, all current reports are showing that it’s going to be a very successful summer season.

The city and the ballpark facility headquartered in the Macks Creek area recently signed onto an agreement turning over daily operations of the athletic complex in Osage Beach City Park to Ballparks National…an agreement Mayor Michael Harmison says is a natural fit.

“They specialize in what they do….and, why not turn it out to somebody that can use that ballpark the way it should be done. Our staff had a hard time working it on the weekends, because they worked in the city during the week.”

The $69,000 agreement was effective February 1^st and will stretch through the end of October.

The usual city events throughout the season, however, will remain under the authority and operations of the city.
