Osage Beach Gives Preliminary Approval To Roadwork On Osage Beach Road

The City of Osage Beach gives preliminary approval to some extensive work along Osage Beach Road.

Assistant Administrator Mike Welty says the proposed improvements will run nearly $1-million-100-thousand.

“If it’s approved, the project will provide a new asphalt roadway, sidewalks, curb, storm drainage and new street lighting from the parkway all the way to about 30 foot past Goodfellow road, which is roughly just under half of the total road itself.”

The first reading of the ordinance calling for the work was approved with the second reading expected to be voted on during the board of aldermen’s next meeting on June 6^th.
