One Week To Go Before Magic Dragon Show Takes Over Lake Ozark

We are now just a week away from tradition returning once again, for the 36^th time, with the 2024 Magic Dragon Street Meet National Car Show.

Lake Area Chamber Director Morgan Crainshaw says the three-day event will feature around 800 show cars and motorcycles lining up and down the Bagnell Dam Strip.

Crainshaw also says, with the event, traffic will be impacted especially on Saturday…“You will not be able to cross the dam from the North Shore, you’ll have to come up to 242 to enter down from the strip. The thought with that is to ease congestion, confusion and hopefully improve some safety aspects as well. And then you’ll exit from the dam. You just won’t be able to come through the dam from the North Shore to access the Strip.”

There will also be spectator and shuttle service on Saturday from 8am-7pm.

The Magic Dragon Car Show begins with registration from 12pm-4pm at Mount Carmel Baptist Church on Thursday continuing with the main event from 10am-5pm on Friday and then from 6am-6pm on Saturday.
