One Dead Following Plane Crash In Boone County

One person is dead after an airplane crash in southern Boone County.

A report by KRCG-TV says the Cessna-type plane went down with only one person on board near Hartsburg.

The highway patrol indicates that it happened just before 12:30 Tuesday afternoon.

The National Transportation Safety Board is to investigate the cause of the airplane crash.
