More information has been released following the arrest earlier this week of a St. Louis-area man after an incident last Sunday at a residence in Brumley.
Miller County Sheriff Louie Gregoire says deputies were dispatched to a reported peace disturbance and, upon arrival, the suspect identified as Keith Scott had already fled the scene after breaking into the residence and assaulting an occupant.
Scott’s phone was pinged allowing Bridgeton police to track him down and take him into custody.
Scott has since been returned to the lake area and formally charged in Miller County with one felony count each of first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, property damage, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He was being held on a $325,000 bond.
