Mizzou Gets Big Victory Against LSU

A significant victory for Mizzou basketball last night as they beat LSU at home.

The final score in Columbia 83 to 67.

Why so significant though?

Well, it’s the Tigers first conference win since March of 2023.

Of course, going back to last year with zero SEC wins for coach Dennis Gates and his his group, they’ve come a long way and it looks like this year will be a lot different.

Not a guarantee at the NCAA tournament, but progress certainly being made last night.

Tamar Bates, part of that winless conference team last year.

He scores 28 rebounds, 3 steals.

Great bounce back for Anthony Robinson, the sophomore after a disappointing performance at Auburn. Scores 16 and 4 assists.

By the way, that Auburn, Auburn team, very good.

They won at Texas last night. So still no shame for Mizzou losing at Auburn.

They’re now one and one in the SEC.
