Millions of Americans burdened by medical debt will no longer have worry about how it affects their credit score.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced today that they will remove medical debt from the credit reports of more than 15 million Americans, raising their credit scores by an estimated average of 20 points.
This will make it easier for Americans burdened by medical debt to be approved for loans they may otherwise have been denied.
