Mechanical Issue Causes Motorcycle Crash On Route M In Morgan County

A mechanical condition is being blamed for a motorcycle accident over the weekend on Route-M west of Route-135 in Morgan County.

The highway patrol says it happened early Saturday afternoon.

The motorcycle ridden by 56-year-old Jack Henry, of Kansas City, accelerated before running off the roadway and striking a tree.

Henry was wearing a helmet and suffered minor injuries.

He chose to seek his own treatment.
