Louisiana Man Drowns In Table Rock Lake On Thursday

A 44-year-old man from Louisiana is dead after drowning in Table Rock Lake in Taney County.

The marine division of the highway patrol says that it happened at Moonshine Beach shortly after 3:00 Thursday afternoon when Shannon Summers lost his grip on a floating device and went under failing to re-surface.

Summers was not wearing a safety device at the time and was pronounced dead a short time later at a Branson area hospital.
