The City of Lebanon has a new police chief.
Jerry Harrison was appointed by the city council to the position to take over the office following the retirement last fall of Chief Bryan Arnold.
Harrison brings to the office over 26 years of law enforcement and past experience with the Independence, Kansas, Department and having served on the Kansas Association of Chiefs of Police Board of Directors.
Harrison expects to be officially in Lebanon by mid-April.
