City officials in Lake Ozark put in a little extra time on Tuesday to take a look ahead at the short-term future.
Administrator Harrison Fry says, during the special work session, a couple items talked about included a community development block grant and the city’s overall capital improvement plan.
“One of those looks like we’ll be doing a partnership application for a demolition grant, with the folks at Reese Development…moving forward….and hopefully seeing a few of those older structures on the strip come down, if the state approves the application. And then separate from that….we also had some really good conversations around the planning & efforts we want to put into 2024.”
The board of aldermen then followed later in the day with its regular meeting which included discussion on the Overlook Road water main extension and four upcoming special events including this weekend’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
