KC Man Injured In PWC Accident Along The Osage Arm

A Kansas City man is taken to the emergency room after being tossed from the waverunner he was riding when it struck a large wake.

The highway patrol says it happened around 1:15 Sunday afternoon at the 8.5-mile mark of the Osage Arm.

35-year-old Vincent Lyons was wearing a life jacket and suffered moderate injuries.

He was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.
