Kansas Teen Injured In ATV Accident In Benton County

A teenager from Kansas is seriously hurt in an ATV accident shortly before 8:00 Saturday night on Balke Road in Benton County.

The highway patrol says two 14-year-old girls were riding the ATV when the driver fell off the vehicle while it was moving.

She was not wearing a safety device and was flown to University Hospital.

The passenger also was not wearing a safety device but was uninjured.
