Jury Trial To Begin Monday For Osage Beach Man

A jury trial for an Osage Beach man accused of providing his mother with a deadly mix of drugs was scheduled to begin Monday in Camden County.

Derek William Beck is charged with one class-C felony count of involuntary manslaughter after the death of his mother on, or about, January 19^th of 2021.

The Honorable Matthew P. Hamner is presiding over the trial which could last all week.

A second suspect identified as Morgan Walters was also charged in connection to the incident.

However, there is no public record available with information about that case.
