An investigation is underway by the Missouri Highway Patrol’s Water Division after a call for help goes viral on Facebook.

In a post over the weekend, lake area boater Nathan Hartley indicated he was “on the hunt” for a big cruiser, which Hartley claimed had “run over” his friend’s boat and “came close” to hurting a kid.

A photo of the damage was posted, showing half of the teak missing on the right side.

Hartley shared an image of the big cruiser, which users online shared throughout lake area boating groups…..until that boater actually reportedly turned themself into authorities.

While the patrol indicates they are investigating, the other boater’s name, nor any charges or fines, have been released at this time.
