Home In Gravois Mills Destroyed By Fire Over The Weekend

A Gravois Mills area home is destroyed by fire over the weekend.

Gravois Deputy Chief Chad Nicholson says the call to the residence on Tall Oak Drive was received around 3:40 Saturday afternoon.

“Single wide trailer….fully envolved. We responded and we had assistance from Versailles Rural.”

All occupants of the home were able to get out safely before firefighters arrived and there were no injuries reported.

Water did have to be shuttled in to help put blaze out.

Firefighters were on the scene for a little over two hours and the fire marshal was called in to investigate the cause which does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
