The Missouri State Highway Patrol is looking for new recruits.
There are nine different testing locations across the state.
Qualified individuals of all backgrounds can join the 118th recruit class.
You have to complete the initial testing.
The multi-phase procedure includes a physical fitness assessment, a written test, a polygraph test, background check, and an oral interview.
A medical and psychological screening are also required, as well as a drug screening then a final interview.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, or GED, and be 21 years of age.
Troopers can earn credit hours toward graduation from the law enforcement agency by way of three different Missouri colleges including Missouri State University, the University of Central Missouri, and Mineral Area College.
