Groundbreaking Set For Oasis At Lakeport Project This Week

As anti-climatic as it may seem, ground will officially be broken this next week for the much-anticipated Oasis at Lakeport project in Osage Beach.

Ground work and blasting has been ongoing for some time already in advance of the groundbreaking ceremony which is set for next Thursday, May 23^rd, at the site location near the westbound Grand Glaize Bridge.

The $350-million project is expected to bring an amusement park along with a Marriott Resort and Conference Center.

It’s hoped that at least part of the development can be opened later this year or by the spring of next year.

Representatives from the development companies and local dignitaries will be on hand for the groundbreaking.
