Gravois Mills Woman Dead After Her Car Ends Up in Lake of the Ozarks

An 80-year-old woman from Gravois Mills is dead after losing control for an unknown reason of the car she was driving which ended up in the water at Lake of the Ozarks.

The highway patrol says it happened shortly before 3:00 on Thursday afternoon along a private drive off Clover Road near Cole Road.

The body of Floy Beard was discovered floating in the water but not until shortly after 7:00 Friday morning.
