Gravois Fire District Sees Total Of 30 Calls For Previous Week – Year To Date Nearing 500 Calls For Service

It’s a pretty typical week ending this Saturday for the Gravois Fire District with a total of 30 alarms.

Deputy Chief Chad Nicholson says 17 of the 30 calls were medical emergencies.

There were also four calls for natural cover fires, two calls each for motor vehicle accidents and domestic assaults, and one commercial structure fire on highway-135 which was reported on Tuesday of last week.

All totaled, so far this year, Gravois personnel have responded to 498 calls for service.
