The search for a person of interest in connection to a series of theft and burglaries in Benton County and the surrounding area comes to an end with the early morning capture of 30-year-old Nichols Scott Littlejohn.
On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office posted on social media that Littlejohn was on the loose after being able to elude authorities in several pursuits including one during which he allegedly fired a weapon at a deputy.
There’s also reason to believe, according to the sheriff’s office, that a couple other suspects were working with Littlejohn in his crime spree.
One of those suspects, 45-year-old James Shaw, was also arrested.
Littlejohn and Shaw are currently being held in the Benton County Jail.
Littlejohn is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, tampering with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of paraphernalia and a parole violation.
Bond was set at $50-thousand.
Shaw was placed on a 24-hour hold.
