Former Gravois Deputy Chief Takes Over For Camden County EMA Office

A familiar face in the lake area has been named to be the new director of the Camden County Emergency Management Agency.

That’s according to an email sent out by Second-District Commissioner Steve Dougan introducing John Scheper who became official in the position this past Friday.

Scheper previously served as a deputy chief for the Gravois Fire District.

He replaces Samantha Dale as the E-M-D. Dale recently submitted her notice and is going into the private sector to run her own emergency management office.
