Fire Over The Weekend Destroys Garage & Mobile Home

A trailer home and garage are being called a total loss after a fire over the weekend in the Gravois Mills area.

That’s according to Gravois Deputy Chief John Scheper who tells KRMS News the call to the residence on Commercial Road, off Ridgeline Drive, was received shortly before 11:00 Saturday night.

Upon arrival, the two structures were well involved.

The trailer was in the process of being renovated at the time and the cause of the blaze is unknown.

Providing mutual aid at the scene were firefighters from the Versailles Rural District.
