A felony charge has now been filed in Miller County against a Camdenton man for an incident which happened during the early-morning hours of March 31st at a Lake Ozark establishment.

Lake Ozark police say officers were dispatched to the unidentified location in or near the 1200 block of the strip after a report of shots fired and, upon arrival, found that a bouncer had disarmed Victor Silba-Cruz who was being restrained by others.

Lake Ozark police also say that Silba-Cruz allegedly admitted that he was in possession of a handgun which, he claimed, discharged accidentally before he took off running and then refused to submit to a breathalyzer test.

He was taken to the Miller County Jail that morning and has since been charged with unlawful use of a weapon for being intoxicated and in possession of a loaded weapon.

A summons with a court date in October was issued for Silba-Cruz’s arraignment.
