Fatal Wreck On Route 66 Takes The Life Of A 24-Year-Old Woman

A two vehicle wreck near Old Route 66 in St. Robert left a 24 year old woman dead and the other driver with moderate injuries.

A news release from St. Robert Police says on Thursday afternoon a 2003 Cadillac CTS, driven by a 24-year-old female who name has not been released was traveling east on Old 66 and went out of  control.

Police said the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway into the path of a 2022 Subaru Ascent, driven by 51 year old Ernest Cheatham causing his vehicle to hit the Cadillac.

The driver of the Cadillac was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cheatham sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Pulaski County Ambulance to Phelps Health ER in Rolla.
