Eldon Woman Faces Drug Charges Following Arrest Last Week

An Eldon woman with a history of drug-related convictions finds herself in more trouble, now, with three more open cases and a probation violation.

Eldon Police Chief Brian Kidwell says 23-year-old Rebecca Harris was arrested this past Monday when the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop which, allegedly, uncovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, carisoprodol and alprazolam.

A warrant search of the residence where Harris lives also uncovered hydrocodone and more meth.

Harris currently faces a combined six counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of felony possession of paraphernalia and one count each of trafficking and resisting arrest.

Total combined bond is $200,000.
