Earthquake Shakes South-Central Missouri

As the clock was striking midnight for Wednesday morning, an earthquake shook the ground in south-central Missouri.

That’s according to the United States Geological Survey which reports the 2.6 magnitude quake was about three miles below the surface and centered about two miles east of Hartville in Wright County.

No damage was reported but there were some online comments about the small quake being felt.
