While drought conditions have not changed again over the past week in the lake area, conditions continue improving from south-to-north in Missouri.
With the exception of Jasper County. a large area of southwest Missouri reports no drought while most of the eastern half of southern Missouri falls into the abnormally dry to moderate drought conditions.
West central Missouri from the borders to western Benton and Hickory counties to fall into the extreme category.
Here in the lake area, southeastern Camden and Miller counties remain in the moderate drought category while the rest of the two counties along with all of Morgan and eastern Benton counties remain in the severe category.
